DeBell presents disc golf at its finest.
It’s not free, but it is free from the problems of lesser courses.
Ever hear the expression, “You get what you pay for?” So, how are you enjoying those free disc golf courses in the area?
Welcome to Burbank's finest disc golf course.
DeBell Disc Golf Course was put in the ground and opened on Sunday, July 15th, 2012 through a joint effort by The City of Burbank, and Innova Champion Discs.
Although they didn't have a lot of room to work with, course designers put together nine holes that weave together through the golf course and touch everywhere on the spectrum of difficulty.
While it may be one of the few "pay-to-play" courses in the region, DeBell offers disc golfers well maintained grounds, beautiful scenery, disc rental, a small pro shop featuring Innova Champion Golf Discs, a growing disc golf club, and a thriving Weekly Tournament — including the area's only Glow Weekly every November. (Glowvember Nights)
Utilizing the natural undulation of the Verdugo Mountains, the population of matured trees, the prevailing winds and the ever-present barranca that runs through the middle of the course, DeBell provides players of all skill levels with a short, technical track that requires a variety of shots.
